The previous GNC Strategy (2022-2025) focused on ensuring the right people were in place to support nutrition in emergencies, that operational and technical support was provided, and that an enabling environment helped achieve these goals.
The current GNC Strategy (2026-2029) builds upon these and more deeply acknowledges and leverages our strength as the GNC Collective while articulating the principles that will guide us over the next four years. Reflecting insights from across the collective, the core of the current strategy is focused on three strategic objectives:
1. Coordination and Partnerships – We connect people to improve nutrition outcomes and save lives.
2. Skills and Capacity – We ensure people have the skills and capacity to deliver timely, effective, and quality nutrition responses and save lives.
3. Transformative Ecosystem – We drive collective transformation of the financial, policy, and advocacy ecosystem to enable equitable nutrition action and save lives.
The Strategy will guide the development of the next GNC workplan and inform the prioritisation of activities to be implemented.
