Danka

My name is Danka, and I am the GNC’s Capacity Strengthening Advisor. In my role, I maintain all the GNC capacity strengthening services – including training packages, checklists, toolkits, and the GNC's online learning platform GNC Learn. Additionally, I assist with in-country training, manage the GNC mentoring programme, and support other capacity strengthening activities with external providers. 

I hold an MSc in Nutrition and Health and have worked in the humanitarian sector for nearly 20 years – eight years at the country-level supporting programmes across Africa and Asia, and more than eleven years at the global-level in various nutrition advisory roles supporting nutrition programmes in Africa, the Middle East, and the Caribbean. 

I love languages! I'm fluent in English and French, and can speak Russian. I’m based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
