Briony

My name is Briony, and I am the GNC's Interim Deputy Global Nutrition Cluster Coordinator. My role is to create an enabling environment for the GNC Coordination Team through global-level capacity strengthening, guidance development, partnerships, resource mobilization, and advocacy initiatives.

I am a trained public health nutritionist with a PhD in Public Health focusing on maternal and child nutrition, a MSc in Public Health, and a Bachelor's in Health Science (Nutrition and Dietetics). I've worked for more than 15 years in health and nutrition policy, NiE programmes, and nutrition cluster/sector coordination – primarily in emergency contexts across the Middle East, east and west Africa, south Asia, and the Pacific.

I live in Geneva with my husband and two daughters.
